I received this collar with remote about 2 months ago and it has worked wonders for my 7lb Yorkie. It has helped her from jumping on my guests. She is a very hyper dog and it calms her down.

I have a 6 year old lab who is a darling sweetheart at home, but makes us absolutely no friends in public with her deep aggressive sounding bark! We recently moved downtown which means we are constantly around more people and as much as I wish she was the dog everyone asked if they could pet, she's sadly the one people back away from. I was somewhat skeptical of using a training collar as I wasn't all that educated on them. I had a preconceived notion that they were all barbaric shock collars that tortured the dog. This was not the case at all! There are multiple different settings that emit vibrations to the dog when the remote is activated, as well as a tone designed to deter the behavior. We started using this on our walks in conjunction with our usual collar and leash and the change has been incredible! As soon as the first rumblings of a bark begin I activate the remote on my side and there is no more unwanted, agressive sounding barking scaring away potential new city friends! We haven't tried this collar on its own without a leash, but now that dog parks are seeming like a real possibility for us I'm hoping we can soon!

When I received the 600 Yard Remote Trainer, I really liked it, Bailey, my Maltese didn't mind wearing it and I only put it up to 2 and it worked just fine for a week or so. I tried to turn it on after a week and it wouldn't turn on, so I started to put it on the charger. I couldn't get it to hook up. The remote works fine but as long as I can't get the collar to work, I can't get it to turn on with the green light or the red light won't come on either. What do you want me to do? I thought since it had a charger, it would work great, but it don't and I don't know what to do!

I've had this for close to a month now. It's a great training tool. It's perfectly adjustable to the responsiveness of your dog. I have a fairly sensitive Labrador that has already been trained to an invisible fence, so she responds well just to the sound. Im also excited by the fact that this is expandable to more than one dog. Although we only have one lab now, we've had multiple dogs at the same time in the past and I expect we'll have more soon. Overall, I'm really pleased with the construction. . .it seems very durable for large active dogs. I haven't fully tested the 600 yard range but will when the weather warms up when we're doing more camping and hiking. So far though, the range is impressive. Lastly, no batteries! So nice to just recharge this when needed.

I received this 600 yard remote trainer and it’s great.. I have a Goldendoodle that likes to counter surf and he’s fast!! :) This trainer is great. It gets his attention off the kitchen counter and he gets down. It also works great when he runs to the bark yard and starts barking.

Perfect for my little Lucy who wants to run all over neighborhood. I am sure this containment device will save her life Thank you

This is a great training collar! I have a Westie who I have been wanting to train off-leash for quite some time now. She loves to chase squirrels when she is outside, so we got this training collar to call her back when she gets too far. The design of the collar is really nice- I love that it is adjustable and she feels comfortable when she's wearing it. It took some time for me to figure out how to use it, so I went online and did some research and I also played around with it testing out the tone, vibration, and static on myself before I ever put it on her. We only ever use the tone to call her back and it has been great! I really like this collar and I highly recommend it!

Got this a week ago- was very impressed.
Unit is very compact and well built.
I was able to use it immediately after reading the instructions because it came charged. Nice touch!

Collar was easy to fit on my 12 lb Morkie and she got used to it quickly.
Ran through the audible and vibration with her and she was alert to this.

Only used the "static" correction to level 2 so far- but I can see this being a great tool in my training with her.

One of the main features I love is to be able to recharge it. This makes it so convenience to use....not to mention my dog loves his freedom and I know he is still under control with this leash.

Having two Boykin Spaniels with high energy and at times stubborn hunting drive, training is essential.
This is the third training collar I have used and by far the best. The instructions are clear and straightforward. You have a wide range of options ( static, tone and vibration ) with many settings.
The collar and control are rechargeable and hold the charge well. Both are user friendly, plus being able to use with two dogs from the same control, ensures ease of use.

The product is easy to use and setup. This is a training collar only and is meant to supplement a regular collar as it has no ring for tags or leash. Although I have not tested it yet, it appears to be completely waterproof as everything is enclosed. The device has tonal, vibration, and shock settings with a lock feature so as to not over-correct when in shock mode. The device also has light that is either green for tonal or vibration or red when in shock. This also acts as a battery indicator and will blink green when battery is sufficient and will blink red when a re-charging is required. The hand controller is nicely contoured to fit nicely and has a strap to keep attached to the wrist.

Overall, a nice device that is working well with off leash training for our dog.

I was pleased with the aesthetic design, smooth lines give it a modern, timeless look. I have a Pomeranian and a Shih Tzu, but plan to get a larger breed so having an adjustable collar is a plus. There are some things like settings instructions for vibration mode weren't completely clear and I only noticed it by trial and error. The box was a little difficult to open due to over applying of the glue that holds the flaps down but those did not affect the product performance or range. This is a fantastic training collar. Also knowing that I have the flexibility to purchase another collar to use to train up to two dogs at once, that just makes things so nice.

I've used other training collars before, this one, particularly with the different settings, is perfect!

Have had a few weeks and working great! Works great for smaller doggies too!

I got this to train my dog. It has worked great at getting him to not stay close on walks.

I used this on my vocal pug, the instigator of the four. It is not meant to replace training but is a useful tool to assist with training. My vocal pug now stops his barking on my first request. He did not require more than the lower few settings.

Started using this remote about 4 weeks ago. He has learned quickly when he see’s the remote not to chew on things!

We have an In-Ground fence at home. Our dogs are used to wearing the collars. So I use this when we're not at home. I just put it on the tone setting. I don't have to worry about holding on to a leash and they get more freedom. When they start getting too far, I just sound the tone and they come back.

The remote trainer is easy to use and a very affective tool to control bad behavior.

I love this training collar, I’ll explain why I only gave it 4 stars in a second. The receiver unit, on the collar, is the smallest I’ve seen with this many features. I have Rottweilers and this is the 3rd training collar I have owned and the smallest. When it comes to things hanging around my dogs neck, smaller is definitely better.

The collar itself is sturdy and the clasp is easy to manipulate, the collar this is replacing had a horrible buckle/clasp and would come undone by it self. This one stays on securely. My dog is very active and loves to swim. Both the collar receiver and the hand held transmitter appear to be well sealed against water. The collar has been swimming but I haven’t submerged the transmitter yet.

The transmitter is well designed, smooth surfaces, ergonomic shape and easy to read LED display. It has 3 modes; tone, vibration and 15 levels of static stimulation. I love the vibration mode! If my dog doesn’t respond to the tone the vibration does the trick, I very seldom need the static stimulation (but with a Rot it’s nice to have available when in public). The unit comes with extra prongs (longer to penitrate thicker coats), extra rubber covers for the charger openings (this is a nice surprise since I always manage to tear one off), easy to understand directions and a wrench/tool that includes a test light to check the operation of the stimulation setting without zapping yourself and a charging cord with 2 plugs so you can charge the collar and transmitter on 1 cord. The unit can also be paired with a second collar when working with 2 dogs.

Ok now to why I only gave it 4 stars - due to the design of the portion of the collar that the prongs are mounted to, the charging plug does not go all the way into the collar receiver (see photo). I am a bit rough on equipment and I am afraid I may break the plug portion off accidentally. Other than that this is a 5 Star product, I love it (so much better than the other 2 I have owned) and I would highly recommend it!

I received the remote trainer about 1 month ago. I have a 3 year old female chocolate lab that is very submissive. I found that the remote trainer settings were easy to adjust and the tone alone was effective in getting my dogs attention. Safety lock out for higher levels is a plus. Remote trainer kit did not come with training instructions but I was able to find some instructional videos online which helped. The charging covers for the hand held unit and collar are soft rubber like material and did not fit tight when replaced. I probably would worry if it was exposed to rain/wet conditions. All in all system worked great for sensitive dog.

I was excited to try this trainer out, because my yorkie likes to run out of the yard and doesn't listen when I call him back. It is definitely a great idea but I was never really able to try the features of the vibration because whenever I put the collar on him, he would become timid and not want to walk around much. I guess my problem is solved, but not the way I was counting on. It would probably work best on a larger size dog that didn't mind the collar on it the first place. I do have to say that the features seem easy to use and the slim modern design of the remote and the collar are awesome.

Nice lite unit. Fits my dachshund (standard) very well. The rubber collar was pliable and attached easily. The hand unit was a bit difficult to use as the buttons were close together and not marked. I needed to refer to the instructions frequently to use the right button but once used the reaction was immediate.

I will mostly use this collar to keep my fur baby out of the road while outside for extended periods of time.

I love that you can start out at just a tone or vibration to correct the dog. My Chihuahua didn’t recognize the tone but when I put it on the vibration setting, she would look for the source of the vibration. However, the vibration was not enough to startle her or make her jump.

After a couple of days of getting used to the collar, I went to adjust it for training. But the vibration was not enough to get her attention consistently. I first tested the 2 lowest static settings on my finger & did not feel anything. But the 3rd one felt like my finger had fallen asleep. I turned it back down to test the lowest settings on her. As I had suspected, she did not respond to the first 2. The 3rd lowest startled her slightly & she jumped but did not whimper or whine or make any sound, which I like.

The con that I can see is that I typically don’t like things with a rechargeable battery. The reason for this is that if the battery ever went out, you would have to purchase a whole new collar. With a standard replaceable battery, although they can get costly over time, you never have to actually replace an expensive collar.

Seems to work but I have a very strong headed setter. He tries to push the limits of the collar.
