I love the beep option to send out a warning to my mini schnauzer so that a vibration isn’t necessary right away. He learned to stay and walk within a very close proximity of me on the first training session. Going to order a second collar for our new puppy! Highly recommend!!!

I only have to use the tone and Vibration features to correct my Yorkie

I really appreciate this remote trainer. Not only does it have an audio tone or a vibration correction, it also has 15 levels of static correction. The remote is easy to understand and the higher levels of static correction are locked, so you must unlock them in order to use higher static correction for tougher dogs. You can also use the remote on two separate collars.

I wasn't sure I'd love this training idea. I have three Yorkies who love to bark and all I had to do is put it on them and got them use to the sound signal and they knew to stop barking. I did not think training could be so simple.

The PetSafe 300 Yard Remote Trainer - Lite was an excellent choice to help in training my older dog! My dog is a smaller medium sized dog, and the unit works well on him comfort wise and settings wise. I felt very comfortable using the remote training after testing it on myself first. The directions were easy to read and understand. I recommend thoroughly reading the directions and even finding and watching a tutorial video online. I got some great tips from the video I watched on how to use the remote trainer as well as training tips. The collar is nice and big and you can cut it to the desired length you'd like. I also like that the collar was comfortable and not too heavy on my dog.

This collar and remote was very easy to set up and charge. The different features (sound, vibration and stimulation) are a breeze to figure out and start using. My dog has a bad habit of barking "through" our fence at the neighbor's dog and they get so focused, they've damaged the fence. She doesn't always listen to correction or whistles when this is happening. We put the collar on sound only and tried that first. She DID immediately stop and look around! Then we called her inside. After a few times, she didn't care about the sound, so we used the vibration only mode. IT WORKED! So far, we haven't had to try any of the stimulation levels. So as long as the vibration mode keeps working for her, we're sticking to that. I also love that the collar and remote are small and easy to charge.

This trainer has been a lifesaver! I have a 7 month old golden retriever puppy who loves to steal food off the counter. This has been perfect for reminding him that that is a no no!

I have only been using he trainer for over a week and I already see a difference in my dogs' behavior. The material of this trainer is solid, doesn't feel cheap. It's very easy to use and comfortable on my dog. I love the fact that this comes with replacement covers for the charger connection since it's water resistant. The cover has an awesome fit to begin with! I have a smaller dog, so the number 3 setting was just right, even for me since the instructions will have you try it on yourself first :) This is a quality product that I would highly recommend!

Our dog is trained to stay in the yard with a Petsafe fence. This trainer has helped to keep him from barking and jumping on people. It really can be used to stop any bad behavior because of the handy remote! I love it.

This product works exactly like you would expect! My Dachshund has a big problem with barking at anything, licking excessively, and begging for food. While we tolerates this in the past, the birth of our first child changed what was acceptable. We used this product to give gentle reminders to our dog accompanied by verbal warnings. After a few days of consistent use, our dogs behavior has improved dramatically! We now only have to use the audible alert to get her to stop without having to use the static option. She's not once whined or whimpered with it's use so I believe it to be perfectly safe. We would definitely recommend this product!

Wow! Great collar! We use the collar to keep our dog in our yard when going out to potty. This has eliminated the need to keep him on a leash. We don't have a fence, so this has allowed both my dog and also myself a little more freedom. It's lightweight and adjusts easily. We have only used the tone and gentle vibration modes, as my dog quickly learned that the vibration means he needs to turn back. We will always utilize this type of collar from this point forward. I have used traditional “shock” collars in the past to keep my cats in our yard. This collar has a lot of great options. I like the tone feature for praise. I tried the collar on my fingers like the instructions said, and I don’t need to use more than a level 2 on my dog. It is important to have the collar on tight enough to feel the correction. The first few times I had put it on too loose. The actual collar is very light weight and durable. I haven’t used the collar yet in a situation without his harness on. He is till in training and is a runner!

This is great for smaller sized dogs and fits really well. The color itself is made from very durable, lightweight material. It is not overly bulky, and the dog does not seem to mind wearing it. It remote is easy to use, and the light up feature makes it so much easier to see and use when it's dark. The corrective stimulation that the dog received is not harsh, but just enough to stop them and correct the unwanted behavior. Upon first use, it was a little difficult to find the right range adjustments, but once adjusted correctly, it worked very well. There are 3 types of stimulation, tone, vibration and static charge. Once the dog is trained on the static charge along with the tone and vibration, the static charge can be turned off. The dog responds well to just the tone for correction. The recharging feature is great and more economical than using/replacing batteries. Overall, very good product and dog responded very well.

I got the Remote Trainer about 3 weeks ago. It was very easy to get started with the instructions provided. Just charge it up and you're ready to go. You need to work with your dog to be sure they understand what's happening. I used the audible correction for the first few days and then moved to the vibration correction for additional reinforcement. Tying the correction to a verbal command "No" and then offering praise when the unwanted behavior stopped was helpful. The static correction was only needed on a couple of occasions for the rare times the audible / vibration didn't do the trick. At this point, I simply show my dog the remote and she responds very quickly. I'm not sure the exact range but I have used it from 100 yards away with good results. If you're looking for a quality trainer at a reasonable price - I would recommend this one.
