Makes training a snap. Very glad we purchased the collar. The charger works great

I bought this with reservations. I’ve never had such a strong willed distracted dog and I was desperate. She is a Weimaraner/ Black lab mix, 55 lbs, high energy, intelligent. I was so afraid of hurting her. After some trial and error, we’ve had some amazing success. She is able to run in our 2 acre pasture and play. If she acts interested in darting into the woods, just a word or the vibration is enough to turn her around. The times I shock her are less and less, also I’m able to dial it down it down to 1. Very pleased with the unit and would recommend it.

This thing has been absolutely amazing in terms of my young, stubborn boxer's training. We never ever have to use the static discharge option anymore. On 2 (out of eight levels of static discharge) our pup would snap out of whatever he was doing. It didn't hurt him as much as it made him uncomfortable. Over time, just our voice tone was enough to get him to straighten up his behavior. He is a happy, (Partially) obedient, rambunctious, boxer dog now.

Every now and then he's bad, but we don't ever have to use the static discharge now. Occasionally he gets the vibrate option, which reminds him and he straightens up!

I thought this collar was amazing, convenient, and indispensable in training my dog.

Really gets my stubborn Bassett Hound’s attention.Wish I had bought one sooner.

This unit works great as advertised. Improved performance from one we used in the past that we replaced with this. Battery life is good so far.

My German Shepard (Izzy) is a very good dog . But every now and then I have to remind her who is the boss. I have only had to shock her once the rest of the time the sound is enough to remind her she isn't the boss.

We Love the YardTrainer almost as much as the SportDog barking collar that totally cured our Chocolate Lab from anxiety barking. We bought this YardTrainer collar for our Daughter’s completely Unruly Dingo / Boxer mix. He wouldn’t sit still, listen to any commands, and tried to pick fights with other dogs. After 3 weeks of working with him and following the instructional videos, he has made fantastic progress. With some consistent work, “Moose” will be a great dog thanks to your help! We are SportDog Fans for life.

I bought this about a month ago and I do not know what took me so long! Our 2 yr old Black Mouth Cur is a completely different dog. Best thing ever!!

I purchased this collar about 3 weeks ago for a English Bull Terrier and it works wonders I only put the collar on when he’s acts up which isn’t often now thanks to this collar THANKS SPORT DOG!

We've had this unit for a couple of weeks ago and it has so far been the best training collar we've owned. Easy to use and made of durable materials.

Best product ever! This is our first time using a Training Collar and I will never not use this on our dogs. We have a 10 month old Vizsla, that has a lot of energy and a very stubborn personality! The first day we used the collar, he immediately responded to us. We started with him on the leash while using the collar, and by day 3 the leash was no longer needed. We have not used a leash since that day! The collar is easy to use and comes with a great "how to get started" booklet, which was very helpful. And to my surprise, our puppy is happier and more respectful than ever. We love it!

I would recommend this training tool. My dog wanders and doesn't pay attention to calls to come and this tool got her to really come when called.

I originally purchased the Sport Dog 425 collar with the 300 yard range. My dog ignored that collar even on the highest setting (#7-Medium. So frustrating.
We hike on mountain trails. He is never more than 100 yards away from me, so this collar works perfectly.

I’ve been using the collar for the last two weeks. After day two I had a different dog. Suddenly, she understood everything I was saying to her. She used to act like she didn’t know her name, now she comes every time I call without treats. The collar accomplished what hundreds of dollars and hours of training couldn’t do.

Works exactly as advertised. It'd be great if there was a way to adjust the intensity of the vibrate feature instead of the low default that it's stuck on, but other than that it has exceeded expectations.

Very happy with the purchase, after a few days of using just the tone, my younger
Black Lab has changed for the better. All I have to do is put the collar on her, I don't

Been using it for only a couple of weeks, with great results. I first ordered the 100S and it was way to harsh. Sportdog has been great to work with as far as customer service and sending and replacing products.

Sometimes the remote won’t work even though it’s fully charged. We just have to plug it back in and let it charge more and then it’ll work.

The battery on it only lasts an hour if that. It was fully charged and the battery needed to be recharged after hardly an hour of it being on my dog. Will be returning it.

I struggled on buying this, as I couldn’t really afford it, but I wanted quality. I was worried when I got it that the remote was black and was going to switch the lanyard for a brighter color. Unfortunately, I have only had it a week and the remote slipped out of my pocket on a walk when a neighbor’s dog attacked mine. I didn’t realize until I had gotten home, but it was a very short walk. We were on a leaf covered grey gravel road and I searched for two hours couldn’t find it. Now, after using it 3 times, I have to pay $80 to replace the remote. I was going to go for another collar and remote that were bright colors and now I really wish I had done that. Oh well, lesson learned.
