I had the same unit for 15 years and it never failed. I dropped it while cleaning it and that's why I needed a replacement. Sam is happy and drinking again!

After many years, my cat's original Drinkwell fountain finally quit working. She missed it terribly, and did not like drinking water out of a plain bowl. Ordered her a replacement, and she is now very happy again. When not drinking, she often sits by the fountain and just listens to the water trickling. Hope this one lasts as long as the first one.
